
Dr Linda Lee
Linda is an acknowledged thought leader with a proven, successful track record in marketing strategy in Canada and a global academic reputation. With over 25 years of marketing leadership experience, she managed major product category portfolios with multinational corporations including Scott Paper (Vancouver) and Sterling Winthrop (Toronto), was Director of Marketing for Destination British Columbia, and Managing Partner for a boutique management consulting firm specializing in business and marketing strategy. She has consulted to clients such as Molson, Telus, BC Hydro, Destination BC, and developed the tourism plan for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. She has been President of the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association, Board member of the international American Marketing Association, and Vice Chair of Langara College.
She has taught marketing and entrepreneurship courses at Simon Fraser University (Canada) and Nottingham Trent University (UK). Most recently, she was Associate Professor at the University of Essex (UK). She holds a PhD in marketing, an MBA, and is a certified management consultant. She is a world-recognized thought leader on marketing and the intersection of marketing and artificial intelligence, with international publications and presentations at international marketing conferences, including the BCAMA Vision Conference in Vancouver.
