Stuart Hamilton

Stuart has over 50 years of commercial experience with a strong background in international trade and public sector procurement. He oversaw the development of a long-term strategy to create and deliver support for Scottish businesses across all sectors via effective collaboration with the Scottish Chamber Network, Scottish Government, UK Government and business partners. As head of international trade while at the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, he has managed international trade missions and export and market entry strategies into major trading regions across the world.

Stuart has qualifications in civil engineering and information technology and has implemented tailored software solutions for both private and public sector organisations. He also has specific experience in delivering solutions for the construction industry and oil & gas sector, where he has been responsible for securing international contracts in Europe and Africa.
